LOSTCasts 42: Loose Ends

Despite the holidays and bad weather in Dallas, we’re back this week with a new podcast before the second half of season 3 of LOST begins on February 7th. In this podcast, we're joined by a special guest, Tasha, and address the many loose ends that have yet to be tied up. Think of it as a preview of what’s still to come on the show. In addition, we have some great LOST links, and as always, spoilers for the next episode.

Get Ready: Podcast This Weekend

The second half of season three is almost close enough to taste... And we've got one more podcast to make before it starts!

Sunday, we'll get everyone back in the groove by reviewing all the loose ends that are still out there, and talk about what we can expect out of the rest of season 3. Send us your thoughts by posting a comment here, sending us an email or calling our automated audio comment voicemail at 206-666-2278.

Update: Looks like we may be getting hit with an Ice Storm in Dallas this weekend, so there's a chance the podcast could get cancelled and moved to next weekend. We'll keep you updated.

We've cancelled the podcast today and will be podcasting next weekend. The weather's spotty around the Metroplex, and these people can barely be trusted to drive in the rain, let alone anything resembling ice. This just means more time for you to get us your thoughts, and anything you'd like us to cover in the next podcast! See you next weekend. Stay LOST.

LOSTCasts 41: Holiday Cast

After a long hiatus, we're back with a new podcast! In this episode, we briefly revisit the final episode of the mini-season, "I Do", as well as take a look at the promos the second half of the season, with plenty of spoiler data about what we can expect come February. Of course, there's plenty of talk about how such a long break in the show has affected the fans.

We'll be back again after Christmas, in January, to talk about all the "loose ends" that haven't been tied up by the writers. Send us what you think will happen in the second half of the season, as well as what the most important outstanding mysteries are, in your mind.

Happy Holidays... and Stay LOST.

Get Ready: Podcast This Weekend

We'll be podcasting this Saturday, and have more than enough ground to cover. It sounds like everyone's interested in something different, so the podcast will be a mix between a bit of recap, preview and theories. Get us your comments and opinions by posting them here, sending us an email or leaving an audio comment on our automated voicemail: 206-666-2278.

Coming Soon to a Speaker Near You

Feels like it's been an eternity since LOST was on... and we still have an eternity until it's back on the air. The guys and I have enjoyed the break, but we're preparing to do another podcast soon, before the Christmas holiday. Let us know what you'd like to hear about in the next podcast: a recap of the first half of season 3? the last episode we missed due to technical difficulties? preview of what's coming in the second half of the season? a theory cast? all of the above...

Send us an email, post your comments here, or send us an audio comment by calling our automated audio comment voicemail at: 206-666-2278.

The Black Smoke Strikes Again

Well, we were all ready to record the podcast this morning... we had our notes and our laptops, but unfortunately, we had microphone issues. So we don't have a podcast for season 2, episode 6 of LOST, I Do. We're going to need to get a new microphone, and with the holiday coming up, it will be a couple weeks until we're able to do a podcast. Our next podcast will be sometime after Thanksgiving, where we'll do a wrap-up of the 6 episode "mini-season", including this latest episode that we weren't able to cover.

We're just as disappointed as many of you are, but these things happen once and a while. Thanks for bearing with us, and again, we apologize for the lack of a podcast this week.

In the meantime, I've including below some of the LOST links we were going to talk about:

Marnie - Breakthrough medication: Losticil
Denis - Podcast interview with Michael Emerson
Rachel - Song inspired by LOST - The Undisputed Heavyweights
Nash - Ausiello's 100th column interview with Lindelof/Cuse

Stay LOST.

Get Ready: I Do

Season 3, episode 6 of LOST, I Do, certainly gave us a cliffhanger to hold onto until February! We'll be podcasting about it this weekend, so let us know if you have thoughts on the fate of Sawyer, Kate and Jack... or what will happen to Ben? Or why didn't Locke pay attention to Eko's stick the first time? And what the heck with the LOSTCasts crew be doing during the break?

Send us your thoughts by posting them here, sending us an email, or calling our automated audio comment voicemail: 206-666-2278.

LOSTCasts 40: The Cost of Living

This latest podcast focuses on season 3 episode 5 of LOST, The Cost of Living. As always, we start off the podcast with some listener comments, and then check in with The Fuselage for general reactions to the episode. We discuss Eko's backstory, changes to life on the beach, Jack's interactions with Ben's group including the funeral and Juliet's proposition. We also revisit the pearl station, and talk about the black smoke. We also have a surprise, contributed by a few of our female listeners in reaction to the audio comment we got last week about needing a feminine touch on the podcast. As always, we round things off with LOST links, and what we can expect next week.

Get Ready: The Cost of Living

We got another great episode last night, with the airing of season 3, episode 5 of LOST, The Cost of Living. We'll be podcasting this Sunday afternoon, so send us your thoughts by posting a comment here, sending us an email or leaving an audio comment by calling our automated audio comment voicemail at: 206-666-2278.

This Sunday in the podcast, we'll also have the results of our message board poll. There's a clear winner, although it's closer than we expected!

LOSTCasts 39: Every Man for Himself

This latest podcast focuses on season 3, episode 4 of LOST, Every Man for Himself. In the podcast, we've got some great listener comments to start things off. We discuss more about Desmond's psychic abilities, Sawyer's backstory and interaction with the others. We also talk about Jack's questions about who's in charge of the others, as well as his surgery and the mysterious x-rays. The revelation of the two islands is also talked about, and we revisit the mural in the swan hatch to bring some perspective to this discussion. We also talk about a few easter eggs that viewers have found, and of course, have plenty of LOST links and spoilers for you. As a note, we edited out a portion of the podcast, due to a dull experiment that we don't want to subject you to...
