I've listened to all of the lost podcasts I could get my grubby little hands on and yours is by far the best. I love how you dont spend the time recapping the show like some do. I know what happened, I mean what the heck would I be doing listening to this if I wasnt addicted to lost. Yours also has the most content and I love the length. Go longer even! (hehe work is boring) I just like how its a bunch of guys sitting around talking about it too, seeing as how not many people I know are this addicted to lost, it kind of makes me feel there.

Hey -
I'm going to call the # in a few minutes with podcast #4 comments, but I wanted to post a link to this thread on your site:

http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1169

It's another theory as to what the #s are about. Previously, I mentioned this thread:

http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2363

I think both are viable options. I like that the writers are influenced by Robert Anton Wilson, though, whose Illuminatus Trilogy has always been one of my favorites. I don't think we know enough, at present, but I think it's a good theory that the writers are familiar both with the role numbers play in remote viewing (if that site is not a show-site, created by the writers and their small private army of web designers) as well as electro-magnetics. Quite interesting stuff!

Thanks,
Bryan

Congrats to Robert. Watch out for the smoke. The Others could be on their way.

Robert is now a Dad. Nice work even though Jen did all the heavy lifting (and she did so without any pain meds. Whoah!)

Robert, don't expect this "new baby" thing to be an excuse for not doing your research for this weekends lostcast :)

Hey, guys. I really enjoy your podcasts (which was the topic of a recent ClickZ column: Consumers Seize Control, Part 3, "'Lost' Casts" by Pete Lerma).
You're thoughtful and do your homework. I don't, however, like the Reactions. I'd rather hear what you have to say after you've done your homework, that's the value you offer.

I have a request as well: could you keep the casts G-rated? I listen to them on my computer, with my young kids around me. I'd like to continue to do that, rather than have to wait until they're in bed for the night. (I'm sure I sound like a prude, which I'm not. It's just harder for me to listen and watch stuff when the kids aren't around.)

The Link to Podcast#4 on this page is incorrect. It is pointing to #5.

"Download podcast #4 here" not :(

I'll finagle my own link though. Great show, thanks.

Jon Dunn

Actually I can't suss it out - can you change it please? thanks.

Stephen

I would also like to hear this one. The URL is incorrect.

Also, you could use torrents to distribute the mp3s.

Jon Dunn

Thank you for correcting the URL - ok now.

Hello Boys

I am writing because I loved your theories podcast, and can't wait for tonights new Lost.

I am writing today because I Loved all of the theories and some of them are really interesting and plausible. But, non of them dealt with the biggest part of the show that no one seems to be really talking about. How come all of these lives are so connected? How is it that these people have crossed paths with each other and not just on the day of their flight, and what does that have to do with why they are on this Island.

I think that's the key to the show and if not it is a huge part of what will actually happen in the end.

And I think that we're not dealing with it because we are rational animals and to think that we could be that connected to complete strangers totally freaks us out. Which is why we can't even touch that whole story line that is the one thing that the writers keep giving us on almost every episode.

Thx for listening

Hello There....
I'm a big LOST fan, though i caught on the Ipod (first Generation) and Podcast pretty early....i started to subscribe to your podcast recently and i'm onto my fourth one.

I realize, as you guys do, that there are a lot of Hindu or south asian references in the series. through your first three podcasts i have deducted that, somehow you havent been contacted by an Indian fan yet. Probably, because, LOST has not yet made its impact on India. But, i live in Texas. If you guys need help with something about the Hindu Culture, names...whatever, i'm no pundit but i do have a lot of information, on Hinduism...which i was born into....though i'm an agnostic, feel free to respond.
In the meantime i will continue to listen to your good work! Keep it up

Take care,

Xacerb8

I don't watch TV, so I am listening to your podcasts to feed my Lost jones until Season 2 comes out on DVD. Thank goodness for your podcasts, which I only discovered recently.

Anyway, just wanted to say that the science experiment you referred to in the podcast, where people would give electric shocks to other people, to the point of death, because they thought they were anonymous, was done by Stanley Milgram. It was called the "Obedience to Authority" experiment.
Check out
http://www.stanleymilgram.com/milgram.php

Peter Gabriel wrote a song about it, "Milgram's 37," which is on the CD "So."

Lyrics:

we do what we're told
we do what we're told
we do what we're told
told to do
we do what we're told
we do what we're told
we do what we're told
told to do

one doubt
one voice
one war
one truth
one dream

Love the podcasts...they actually make my workouts fun...
