Podcast #7, our theories podcast, is live! In this podcast, we delve deeper into some of the more popular overall theories for LOST, including the Atlantis theory, The Philadelphia Experiment and Montauk Project, as well as the Nazi theory. In addition, we cover some other theories and speculation, such as implanted memories, connections between the stations and Apollo, Connect 4 and much more.
Here are some links related to the podcast:

And here's something interesting... We talked about the E!Online story on the LOST book, and I did a search on Amazon.com for the title, but ended up finding this. They're Hyperion books listed to be published in the Spring of next year, which mirrors what the E! article says. So it looks like there will be a series of books released. That one was #2, and I saw a #5 listed as well!
We'll be getting a new episode of LOST this next week, so get ready to send us your comments about it for our next podcast.
Stay LOST...

Wow - that was a lot to take in! Great podcast, I have to revisit all the post-Philadelphia Experiment stuff, as I don't think I was able to get a handle on everything the first time.
Just a quick note before I get to those links I said I'd post: I don't think we know with certainty that the Mayans actually invented what is popularly known as "the Mayan calender." The Olmecs- of whom we know very little - lived in the same region and were all but disappeared by the time the Mayans appeared in the area. The Olmecs are most prominently remembered for the large Easter-Island like heads they left in Central America(http://www.micahwright.com/olmec.htm ) and their calender, which is essentially the same that the Mayans used. But the Olmecs did make note that they received their calender from... elsewhere.
So, the calender the Mayans and the Olmecs used was an inherited one. Who devised it? As you said on the show, obviously someone with an advanced grasp of mathematics and who, for whatever reason, plotted the end of the world at Dec. 23, 2012. (Great reading and speculation for all things Olmec/ Mayan and more at http://www.grahamhancock.com/forum/default.htm)
Okay, here are some "further reading" and footnote explanations for the things in my theories clip:

(There are hours and hours of stuff to link from this site. At first I thought it was an ARG developed by the show's writers, etc. but it seems too complex: is this for real? There is a "demonstration" in the Media/ Transcripts section that will really make you wonder about how those pesky numbers are used. There's also mention of a) remote viewing being born out of govt. DARPA-esque research, and b) facilities moving to a South Pacific research lab... Hmmm)
Thanks! Sorry for the Russian Novel of a post,

unbelievable podcast! best so far, by a long shot. i've tuned into all the Lost podcasts out there and yours blows doors on all the rest, which spend most of their time on tedious plot rehashing. if i'm so into lost i'm downloading podcasts, don't you think i already know what happened in the episode!? that's why you guys rock -- its all about the theories, mythologies, speculations, archetypes, analogies, metaphors.....i love it. keep up the amazing work and put that bryan guy on the payroll.

What a bizarre promo! Has anyone else noticed that both Locke and Walt appear to be conducting the dance? How about Michael, who seems to be falling away from everyone? Or the fact that everyone is dancing with someone who we've their connection to, except the dance partners of Boone and Claire? And what's with Hurley showing up pulling a suitcase?
Sorry, I don't have any theories to post with regards to this. I'm not a speculator, just an observer.
