Well folks, we did it... We've officially overthrown The Transmission in the iTunes top 100! I checked the rankings today, and we were at 85, with The Transmission at 96. Oh yeah, and we've bested Madonna and The OC as well. Of course, these rankings change on a daily basis, so who knows what tomorrow has to bring.
Thanks to Ryan & Jen at The Transmission for being such good sports. Just some good natured ribbing... We know that LOST fans have to stick together.
And now for the bad news... we won't be doing an "initial reactions" podcast tonight. In fact, I think we're going to discontinue it, and stick with our main podcast on Saturday. Getting everyone together to watch has been tough lately, and podcasting alone is a sure sign you have a problem. If you're a big fan of the "initial reactions" podcast, give us a piece of your mind.

I Like how Ryan & Jen have their Pod Cast in chapters (I think it's just for iTunes users, it lets you skip between parts of the show)
And that Madonna Lost Podcast stinks. You don't hear Madonna and not one mention of the TV show lost, just people confessing stuff that they did.
Keep up the good work guys!

Transmission's ranking dropped due to having two competing podcasts... the normal and the enchanced.
I love both equally. You each have very different strongpoints and you complement each other well.
If you cut out reactions, maybe make the show 90 minutes....
We Lost Fans need more podcast content... I could listen to four to five hours of lost related talk each weeek easy...
In fact, I do... Transmission, Lostcasts, Delta Park Gets Lost (Cheesy but is about lost ;) ), ABC's official Lost Podcast, & Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack.
Love The Show!!!

Our "competition" with the transmission is all tongue in cheek. All in good fun. Every lost podcast out there offers something different and each has a lot ot offer to any Lost fan. But you know what they say, Drama is good for ratings.

Don't front. You know you went all Terrel Owens when the Transmission slipped.

You guys deserve the win...if only because you're the one podcast that doesn't bore us with a long re-telling of the episode that we've already seen.

Fez, what on earth ever made you think madonna's ostensive podcast ever, ever, ever, ever had anything to do with lost?

I was just joking. Madonna's podcast was mentioned in another thread (Along with one about "The OC")

Fez, I knew you were joking dude.

Congrats, guys! Now I guess I'm going to have to demand a rematch...
We've wrestled with the recaps, and when they go really long (like our last show), they annoy even me! But we hear often enough from folks who say they like them - because they missed the broadcast, or they're overseas and are still waiting for BitTorrent to give them the goods. You can just skip 'em, of course.
And like many of you, I listen to all the "Lost" podcasts, because each has a different take, a different energy, a different style. Jay and Jack, Scott and Steve, Delta Park, and I've gotta admit as Carlton and Damon loosen up, I'm really starting to like their chats, too.
We're going to need all the "Lost" talk we can get to survive to Jan. 11!
