Since LOST is the best show on TV, the Super Bowl may not have held any excitement for you. But if you didn't watch, you missed the best Super Bowl commercial, a LOST promo called "Addicted to LOST." It's basically a mashup of some LOST footage, and a slightly altered Robert Plant Palmer song, "Addicted to Love"...
Watch it right now

Hey guys - it's Robert Palmer - not Robert Plant.

LOL! Saw that yesterday and love it!! Was laughing the whole way through it and actually fell asleep with the song in my head. :D Definitely sharing it with the other LOST fans here at the high school!

Robert Plant was in Led Zeppelin. Probably addicted to many things, though.

Lost is not only the best show on T.V. IT's the best show ever created for a Television audience. I recently sold my television due to watching to much of it. But there is still one show I manage to watch every week. That is Lost. No other show has ever captivated me in such a way, I literally crave it like a drug. No show should have this effect on a person.

"I'm addicted to LOST"?? is this kind of like "You all every-butties" commercial? Great podcast! can't wait to see the new episode as John "LOCKE'S IT UP!" with the guns and makes Jack cry!

I really love your podcast. You help me clean my house, so thanks. You do a good job!
That promo was awesome! I'll have to show it to my boys when they come home. They love explosions and fist fights! I, on the other hand, love Locke, Sawyer, and polar bears. Oh, and I don't think they've ever seen any episodes with Walt. My three-year-old saw Aaron though and he likes that baby, he said, because he was not crying and screaming (at least in that particular scene). I should have asked him if he likes Jack, who often is crying and screaming!
I think you should take a poll and see how many times people have either viewed it themselves or shown it to other people. Anybody hit triple digits yet??

Ha... I must have had Led Zepplin on the brain. Which makes me think, someone should do this with "A Whole Lotta LOST" instead!

So that's basically the best commercial I've ever seen in my life. Hahaha seriously wow.
Anyways I feel your pain on the whole editing the show thing. It is a pain in the butt putting audio and stuff in. For S.M.A.R.T.S It's especially tough putting in like music and audio clips from Lost.
Oh by the way *blush* *blush*, when I heard my name mentioned on the show, I was basically way too happy. I gloated to everyone "yeah my name was pretty much mentioned on this Lost podcast called Lostcasts". lol.
Anyways peace out guys. Can't wait till the next show

OK sorry for the double post, but I am listening to the official Lost podcast right now, and Damon and Carlton actually mention that the sign for the construction company is SIGNIFICANT. The name of the company is called Windmore Construction. Hmm I smell a connection to Michael? Or maybe I'm just crazy...
Annnnnd yes they just confirmed that Randy is the same guy in Walkabout and Everybody Hates Hugo...the producers said that Hugo felt bad about the meteor hitting the chicken shack and Randy losing his job so he hooked up Randy with a job at his box company. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN!

Great commercial.. I dont know if any of you have seen this one.. its pretty old.

If you watch this commercial, which I believe was aired in Europe to promo the shows first season, foretells a lot of things that will happen. You see Jack, Kate and Sawyer dancing together showing a lot of conflict between the 3 of them. Michael Dancing by him self foreshadowing him being so independent. There are some other clues in there as well to other things that you may notice. I don't need to mention them all, But one thing I do want to bring up is Locke and Walt. The maestros. Hmm...
Love the podcast and I just want to say Kate cool, but SUN IS HOT!!

The sign is actually Widmore Construction, not Windmore. They said that it could be somehow related to the Hanso Foundation.

Fire plus Water:
I have not heard anyone mention the connection with the Bagua and Charlie's episode Fire plus Water. I went to this website and read about the Feng Shui of Fire and Water: http://www.fengshuipalace.com/bagua.php
These are two areas in Charlie's life he is trying to work on. Fire has to do with improving one's reputation, and make people respect you... and Water has to do with when you are trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing in life. I believe the DHARMA symbol is no coincidence and the meanings of the Bagua relating to each characters situation need to be explored in more detail.

Does Kate look naked at the end or is just me?

What do you have against Newton, MA? There are some serious LOST fans here! Not only that, but THE OFFICE writer/actor you mentioned, B.J. Novak, is from Newton, as is Jim! Be careful who you dis!
Anyway, good podcast. We need you more than ever now that Ryan and Jen are gone.
Thanks!

Here's a cool little song:

It's all about Sawyer just in time for "The Long Con"

Maybe the robert palmer song with the video was specially selected because of the clones in the video, Just a thought.

Just an idea for a show when they hit us up with more re-runs. How about a character recap show. You could go through each of the characters and review what we've learned from their flashbacks as well as their personal experience on the island. This would be especially helpful with some of the forgotten characters such as Desmond and French lady. It might help us see the big picture a bit better.

If I'd never seen any LOST I could just watch this video and see why its so great. And then watch it.

The old fashioned way of singing is mesmerizing. it is truely much much better then modern way of jumping all around the stage.

I haven't been up to much lately. So it goes. What can I say? I've just been letting everything wash over me recently, not that it matters. I just don't have much to say these days.
