Update: They seem to be working now!
Looks like our host, Libsyn, is having some issues this morning and our podcasts are timing out. We've contacted them and hope to have the issue resolved soon.
Sorry for the inconvenience... We'll post here when they're up and running again.

Glad any problems are solved. Also no females on our podcast plz :(

Milk a pregnant polar bear to make ice cream?!?!?! Really? yikes... you guys do need a female on the show!!
and I'm pretty sure I love the "Ewoks-out-of-the-trees" theory with Eko riding a tank... it makes perfect sense!

I loved this subtle point that i saw raised.. that Sawyer squashed a poison arrow frog and puts it in Hurley's hand and the next time we see Hurley he starts seeing things again.
Was he more susceptible to the island when his resistance is lowered.

does this mean no podcast this week?? And that Poller Bear thing.........yeah........... might wanna not go there again....NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Posted by: sam | April 10, 2006 at 10:22 PM
I think the reason why we see Widmore everwhere is because the producers were too cheap to pay for product placements! Oh and by the way Hurley owns Widmore along with Oceanic Airlines and D.I.H.G!

I have Nipples, Greg. Can you milk me too?
mmmmmmmmmm, ice cream....
Posted by: Jack Byrnes | April 11, 2006 at 10:06 AM
jim,
Advertisers pay productions for placements, not the other way around. I'm sure there are advertisiers chomping at the bit to get on LOST.

With regard to the Libby is a compulsive liar idea. Wasn't this rumour/spoiler started as a "new character" on Lost was going to be a compulsive liar. I don't recall gneder being mentioned. Seems to me that "Not Henry" is a far more obvious choice over Libby. She's not actually told a lie as far as I can remember and "Not Henry" lies all the time about everything. As far as I remember he's told nothing but lies.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or yell at me if this has been discussed already.

You seem to troll The Fuselage a lot but what about the others especially the Black Rock (http://forums.go.com/abc/oceanic/forum?start=0&forumID=28&byThread=true )

Polar bear milking and ewok attacks.
Glad John is back.
He really keeps things highbrow.
I just have one question.
Can you milk an ewok?

I was just reading the Oficial lost review of "Dave" it clearly states that EKO is building a Church.
Also I read the lost diary, and it says that henry gale is the brother of one of the castaways. Can anyone give me any feadback, regarding this , as it makes no sence what so ever.

omid,
One theory is that Real Henry Gale is Rose's or another castaway's brother. The writer may have only heard the name of the prisoner in the hatch.
Another theory is that the diary is written by a Dharma plant.
I like the first one.
Posted by: Matt Jones | April 12, 2006 at 09:32 AM
The way I understand it is that the diary is not really written by actual LOST people, but by ABC people, so it's not actually necessarily to be taken as Primary Source or whatever you want to call it. That said, if it is true that it's someone's brother, I'd say it would have to be Rose's brother if anyone. Just a thought.
Posted by: soupmix | April 12, 2006 at 10:02 AM
soupmix is right. The third theory is that the diary is promotional crap.
Posted by: Matt Jones | April 12, 2006 at 10:52 AM
canon : the works of a writer(s) that have been accepted as authentic.
yes, that is no - the diary is not 'canon'
yet, at least to me, you're throwing a HUGE monkey wrench into the equation if such a non-canon source is going to start revealing information that is actually true (the church was confirmed via the episode recap.)
on the one hand, the diary is just another form of entertainment sprung from 'lost' (like the books). the recaps, on the other hand, should be factual and, at the very least, summaries of canon. that is what a 'recap' is.
this possible 'leak' of information is just plain confusing. and when you're part of a fan base that eats up and analyses practically everything that comes from this show, it's a bit of a slap in the face.

"Or is it that ya'll just don't wanna hear what we have to say? Meanie pants! Hey.. take off those meanie pants"
Lol. This is going to be great. I wonder who they found?
"I think the Wizard theory is pretty cool as well. Wouldn't piss me off in the least"
See? Jones and I are TIGHT. There was no lost(ehem) love.
One reason it would be great is that he is by far the best actor on the show. Also, the show REALLY needs a villian.
From a story standpoint it just makes good drama. This villian is brave enough to come in there and risk his life to accomplish his mission. And, he is smart enough to manipulate every single lostie while they have the upper hand. (Anyone who was offended by my geeky comments get ready for this:) I think he has the potential to be Q level bad@$$ in terms of TV series villains. I want him to stick around.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it really is up to losing Gale, or losing Charlie and Mr. Clean, I would keep Gale and I will be rooting for him.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh comparing Non-Henry to Q... Nice! I can totally see that.
Posted by: Shonda | April 12, 2006 at 04:12 PM
We cool like lemonade Ryan.
And fellas, don't fear the ladies. The name of the show is Lostcasts not the He Man Woman Haters Club.
Plus, circle circle dot dot, the Lostcasters are up to date on all cootie booster shots.

What about the Lost Man Show?
Posted by: Ryan | April 12, 2006 at 05:16 PM
And now… Kate on a trampoline!
(Actually that would be kind of anticlimactic.)
And now… Libby on a trampoline!
(Forgive me ladies. I'm estrogen impaired.)

Not Save Our Ship.
By the time the sos goes out, all hope for the ship is usually gone.

Hi guys, I think things are really going to get crazy this summer. I believe that the 'game' coming this summer is going to be an "alternate reality game". I played the one Microsoft did for A.I. and it was the best/worst thing ever as new updates came during Microsoft work hours of 8-5. They would even fax and call you (automated of course). You think its addicting trying to decipher puzzles on the show now? Imagine thousands of pages on fake websites all devoted to the new game with layers of puzzles and cracks to go through...
they say this type of promotion/game works best with smart and obsessive fans, sound familiar? you can read more about them here...
http://news.com.com/Blurring+the+line+between+games+and+life/2100-1024_3-5590956.html?tag=st.num
if this is the case you certainly dont need to worry about what to fill the podcast with this summer. I also wonder how many people will almost get fired waiting for the next update. Trust me this thing will be like crack.

Hey guys
I don't know if anyone has told you yet but,
I just finished last week's podcast today, and at the end of it you said you found a spoiler about Jack's Dad being the leader of the Others and all these connections and future deaths. Just wanted to let you know that Kristin from E! has confirmed many times that these spoilers are indeed an April Fool's joke.
If you go here:
http://www.eonline.com/Gossip/Kristin/Archive2006/060401.html
Look at number 7 of the spoilers.

Hey, Matt...
Why not have Kate AND Libby on a trampoline? I'm not estrogen impaired but I also think trampolines are neat-o.

Okay, So I read Steven King's, The Stand about two weeks ago, but I was so freaked out by the book that I read through it crazy fast and tried to forget about it. But today I remembered that there was something that poped out at me and I wanted to tell you guys. There's a guy in the stand ( I can't remember his name), but he's the sociologist, if someones read the book then they'll know what I'm talking about. Anyway's when the sociologist guy is talking to the main character he tells him of this phenomeno where people got the "feeling" and decided not to go into work and then there was a car accident or not to go on the plane and then it crashes. We know that the Lost writter love King's work and we've had "Stand" refrences before so I think that we might get some kind of refrence to that later in the show. Like someone who didn't go on the plane. Or maybe Hurley kind of fills that space. Okay, my mind is wandering, but this totally made sense when I read the book.
