Got a little Lost with the dates I presume, excuse the really awful pun. Will we be able to download this cast?

I just finished watching the recap episode that was on last night, and I also just listened to the podcast from the season finale, and I'm wondering...you guys speculated that the reason the Others didn't take Sawyer and Jack during the "Hunting Party" episode (the meeting in the woods) was because Locke was there and they don't want him (for whatever reason). But why didn't they take Kate? They had her, and none of the Lostaways knew that she'd followed them. They would have been able to keep her for a little while without anyone knowing, if they really wanted her that bad.
Also, there is a nice article in Time this week about Lost...of course, there's no real spoilers or give-aways or sneak peeks. There is one part of note: "There are no simple answers when it comes to LOST. When we left the addictively weird serial about the survivors of a place crash on a desert island, we had just made a startling discovering: the island is linked to the world outside. That revelation, while it seems small, was momentous for fans. It destroyed a whole bunch of theories--for instance, that the characters were dead and in purgatory. So as Season 3 opens, the question on most viewers' minds is, Will there be more present-day glimpes of the outside world? Yes, says executive producer Carlton Cuse. But executive producer Damon Lindelof interjects that he might not use the term present. Adds Cuse: "The context of time is something you can't take for granted."
I hate them for making me addicted...7 days to go.

Jon W,
Yeah, they're going to make it available for download... says so on the Skype page.
Amanda,
Ooohh, thanks for the brain-tickling info! And so very well said:" I hate them for making me addicted..." So true, so true.
Looking forward to hearing everyone on Saturday (unless the combined force of everyone results in the internet shutting down)!

Yes, the skypecast will be recorded and made available as a podcast.
If anyone's interested, Jay and I are testing out the recording for tomorrow's skypecast in about 15 minutes. If you visit the skypecasts page, you'll see our "test skypecast" happening at 7:00. It won't be interesting, but having a few people on the test is a good way for us to make sure everything's working.

You guys and girl know what we might need. You know how they have alchoholics anonymous? Well, i think that we might need LOST addicts anonymous. But then, the group would be full in about 2 seconds.
6 DAYS TO GO!!!!!

Just wanted to say that the skypecast was lots of fun. A little chaotic with the unmuted-mic moments, but enjoyable, nonetheless. Great idea and great job, guys!

Thanks guys. That was fun. Let's do that again at some stage.

Whoa - weirdness on that thehansofoundation.org page when you mouseover the center of the third paragraph.
Anyway, so I have a theory, based on sneek peeks (SPOILER WARNING) we got of apparently the girl at the playground telling Jack that Sara(h?) can't be trusted. Sarah is an Other. Or, I mean, she's been on the Island.
So, the reason she got cured may not be because Jack is a 'miracle worker', but because she's been on the Island before, and, as we know, the Island has curative properties (e.g. Locke and Rose). Perhaps those properties are transferrable?
Anyway, just my musings. Damn, I missed the skypecast - next time, next time.

Hey guys, loved the skypecast. You guys read my question, ha! really loved that. The part when there was a problem with the muted mics gave me a slight headache but it was funny in a way. I think I could hear someone say things like "but we're the survivors of the flight 815" plus a lot of laughter, and until I realised it was a joke I thought I was inside the show or something...a litle bizare...But yeah, pretty fun. I hope you do a live one again sometime.

Today was cool. Wish we could have talked to everyone, but mixing with Jay and Ryan was fun. I don't know about the call in format, but Skype might be a cool way to incorporate guest into future podcasts.
